I was at the supermarket tonight, buying as little as possible, but enough to meet my Christmas food commitments. (nasty non-meat-eating vegetarian must bring salad and other munchies).
Of note: while the carpark was half empty, six sets of people came past and bought garbage bags while I prevaricated over my own garbage bag decision. (I have house-moving rubbish to throw out and fluffy toys and clothing to protect in the house move)
The news has been full of how many prawns Australians will eat at Christmas. I think they ought to do an expose on how many garbage bags we'll use in sheer rubbish disposal!
