Well, the investment in the Grad. Dip. Ed. has paid off. Before I have even finished my final assignments, I have a job for next year. I will be teaching English and SOSE (Studies of Society and Environment - an amalgam of Geography, History, Economics and Social Studies) at a private school in the old stamping ground of many Soupistes.

I have said 'So, long, Farewell' to academia - at least for now. It feels sad but also entirely justified.

I have plans to do nothing over the Christmas break - hell, I'll need it in preparation for spending most of my working hours with 14 year olds!
